The SignWell API offers a flexible way to automate your document signing workflows.
To get started with the SignWell API, go to the Settings -> API page and create your API key.

API Usage With Zapier
SignWell includes free unlimited usage with Zapier for all triggers:
- Document Send
- Document Viewed
- Document Completed
Sending documents through Zapier with the Create Document From Template action is limited to 25 free API documents a month. This applies to the Personal and Business plan (and requires an API plan for more than 25 signature requests a month):
An API plan is only needed if you go past the free limit of signature requests that we give each plan:
- Free plan - 3 free signature requests per month
- All other plans - 25 free signature requests per month
Because our API/Zapier credits pricing is based on usage, you will only pay for what you use.
If you have reached your monthly limit with these Zapier signature requests, you can see pricing to add an API plan to your account (or get more information).
